Thoughtfulness

I don't like to do two good mail posts in a row, but if I don't report the fun stuff I got today I will feel too guilty. I'm totally giddy at this moment and am so glad my internet is back up (it has been down from 12-4 $%#@) so that I can report this all while it's still fresh.

I know I discourse on the beauty of good mail all the time, but really this is amazing. I came home from helping at Whitney's school and finally submitting my paperwork for my passport (I felt like doing a jig) completely exhausted and with a headache, then my internet was down so I took some meds and tried to sleep. It's hard to nap when the kids have a friend over and are running in and out of the house, but my rest was successful and I woke up feeling much better and then had all of this good mail to open, that's a happy contrast to the way I was feeling. It never fails to arrive on a day I really needed it. Thanks everyone!

Annalisa sent me this cool sticky note tabs and this cute card along with a contribution to the good mail label cause. So nice. Thanks!

Barb sent me this little note and bunny templates to make a fun Easter decoration. The envelope got thrashed on it's journey from Canada, but everything was in tact. Thanks Barb!

My mom brought me this watering can decoration and this antique-looking notebook today as thanks for watching my brother Andrew a few weekends ago. That was nice. (There was tissue paper in there, but I took it out for the photo.)

Carlo sent me and the kids this nice package today. Her note was very kind. She actually remembered reading that I have brittle nails so she sent me her favorite cuticle creme, wow that's nice. I adore the Cadbury mini eggs and of course the kids went bonkers for the rest of the candy. Whitney thought it was perfectly logical that someone would send her a dinosaur book because she likes them so much.

I got this sweet thank you note from Libby for the good mail labels I sent her, she also contributed to the good mail label cause. Thanks!

This is the jackpot of thoughtfulness that Kelly sent me!! I'm kind of freaking out. Any ONE of these items would have been fantastic and totally welcomed, but the combination of all of them has pretty much pushed me over the edge of gratitude. I love everything so much!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Kelly! I have never seen such a big bag of these Cadbury eggs, this is the mother load! (I had already eaten one of the Lindor truffles before I took this picture and have since eaten 3 more--I love these!)

This is what the inside of the "Thanks" book Kelly sent me looks like. I adore this!

Another word about good mail labels: I'm feeling guilty that some of you are sending me money to contribute to the cause. I only mentioned it last week in terms of ordering more labels because I know I can't keep everyone stocked forever. But several of you are first timers with your labels and are paying me anyway, what's up with that? It's super nice of you, but please don't feel obligated to do that.

I know I was a first timer on the good mail labels, but I figured I would contribute right away so I won't forget later! It was so nice of you to make them, and I am so excited about them!

Looks like you got a load of great stuff! How super fun! Hmmm, I am needing a post dinner candy fix so it is hard to look at all of your treats!

Wow! What a great load of good mail. That framed picture from Kelly is so sweet.

I do have a passport, but let me tell you how much I hate that picture! Good thing it isn't forever!

Thoughtfulness ALWAYS inspires me no matter what. Isn't it wonderful to see how many things are cirulating across the country. Love the good mail system.

And catching up on your posts--man I feel so behind and it's only been a few days. I got my labels today. They are PERFECT. Thanks so much Jill!

Ooh, I love all of your good mail! Those mini cadbury eggs are my favorite. I consumed millions last year.

I was worried about that little monkey in a standard envelope. I almost mailed one to myself before I sent my good mail off, but I'm not that patient of a person and there was no way I was going to let my good mail sit on my telephone desk while I waited to for a self addressed monkey to return to me.

I went out and got passports a couple of years ago when the rumor rumble about U.S.- Canada passport requirements first started. I'm glad I did, because my friends who are trying to get a passport right now are waiting months for the paperwork to be processed! How's the wait time for American passports?

Smugmug is in maintenance mode so I can't see all of your good mail but that sounds like the mother load for one day!!!

I'm glad the headache didn't stick around.

No passport now but I have had one in the past.

Very fun good mail. I'm craving those little Cadbury chocolate eggs Kel sent...so my favorite. I know I've said it before, but your crazy good mail getting is merely a reflection of all you give to so many. Thank you for reaching out so much & making this blogosphere a little smaller & friendlier.

I have two passports. An expired one I kept for all the stamps and my current one that I need to renew soon even though I don't have plans to leave the country I always have one just in case.
I have been trying to shake a headache all day. Hope yours is gone.

So much goodness - it is great to see.

BTW, my nails used to be in terrible shape until I started using that Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream. I keep it on my desk at work and rub a little in a couple times a day. It has made a world of difference. Now my nails grow nice and they don't flake and chip like they used too.

I am totally inspired by so much thoughtfulness! I discovered good mail from my friend, Kacey, and was so tickled with the concept that I have started to sending it to my friends. So far, Kacey is the only one I have received good mail from, but I just love sending it! And, I am totally inspired by seeing what everyone is receiving - such wonderful gift ideas!

I have a passport! I actually lost my original passport, and got a duplicate and then found my old one. I figure that I probably need to turn the old one in to the state department, but am not sure exactly how to go about it!
Where are you going to use your passport for?

I definately have a hard time shaking off a headache nap!

I love the good mail labels - can I get some - and I definately would like to contribute towards the fund!

It seems like you've been getting a lot of headaches lately, such a bummer!

I am always inspired by the thoughtfulness of others, that's why I'm glad that you share the bounty.

I love that cuticle cream, too. I should start using it again! And the quote book looks way cool.

My new passport should be arriving in a few weeks, too bad it has such a SCARY photo.
