Good Mail Themed Good Mail

It's late and this is the first time I've really gotten to sit down and be on the computer today (mainly because Randy was working on it all day, aargh!) but I just have to document this good mail from Kristi.

A Crystal Light box arrived filled with goodies from her visit to the National Postal Museum. She went there earlier this week and wrote a great post all about it, and mentioned that she had bought something in the gift shop for me (delightful).

This cute little mail truck actually flips open to store tiny treasures, or in this case, a mini postal worker and piece of good mail. How sweet is that? I think I need to add a little shelf to my wall of happiness so that I can display this cuteness without fear of it falling off when our washing machine spins out and creates a mini earthquake in here.

**Any display suggestions?
Did you know there was a postal museum?**

So cute and perfect for you! Love that it came in a Crystal Light box, Kristi's always thinking.

Never knew about the museum. I hope I'm not the only one.

I received the most delightful good mail today. I absolutely love them, it brought tears!! Thank you, I can't wait to post about it!

What wonderful good mail for "the Queen"!! It should definitely be on your Joy wall, but like you said, safely. How about a small shelf with a ridge or a box type shelf that is deeper?

I love how she finds creative ways to package and send things. Fun!

I just finally hung something on my wall to display good mail notes and cards, but I like that you have a couple of pictures up there on your tackboard, too.
So for your latest good mail are you thinking of adding a large shelf somewhere or just one of those tiny ledges that are meant to hold a single picture frame?

HOW FUN! That is so cute! How about a small framed box that hangs on your wall with your delight inside? If you do display it on a shelf - use some ticky tack (?) to stick it down for that spin cycle on your washer just in case.
I had NO idea about the postal museum - it would be interesting to see all the display of stamps!

hey sorry for the deleted comment, but I figure if I'm going to write one sentence let's make sure the words are actually spelled correctly.

Take two:
I love your wall of happiness.

There was a postal museum in Paris that we ran out of time to see- guess it's time to go back! Or to D.C.!!

very cute!! Kristi did a great job finding the perfect gift for you!! I just love it! I hope to get to visit the museum one day! I did not know there was one until Kristi blogged about it.. I think it needs to be on the list of things to visit in life!

That is so dinky! Did Kristi handwrite that Good Mail label on the little letter?? How funny.

I was really engrossed in Kristi's report on the post museum and I Googled to see if Britain had one, and it seems we do, of sorts, but I found their site so boring to read...I really feel like emailing them and alerting them to the USA version and saying, 'LOOK at how good yours should be'.

Erm, storage...all nice suggestions so far. I can foresee, some day however, you suspending stuff from your ceiling - it will get that bad - or GOOD, I should say!!!

No and No.

Your neverending room makes me laugh. I can't believe all that you make work in there and that it all looks like it belongs. Awesome.

That mailtruck is so cute! I love it. Maybe you could get one of those display boxes to hang on the wall?

i used to live in alexandria, right out side of d.c. and i've been to the postal museum! it's a very cool place, i have always been a good mail girl but i've always called it random notes (or mail) of kindness. maybe that's why i like your blog so much? hmmm... i love this little mail truck. he should go somewhere near your stationary and good mail supplies.
