My day's work

So my friend Lisa, shnockered me into joining another card group (I was in one for a couple years and then it kind of got lame.) So today while the kids have been gone I made this card (times about 20). I'm most excited about my successful sewing. I'm no seamstress and really don't know how to operate my machine (I'm starting a 3 week class through church tomorrow night), so even these 4 semi-straight lines were a big deal to me. Just thought I'd share.

Wow. You did find the perfect paper. Way to sew! The Impress alphabet is just never wrong, is it?

I have been out of the creatative loop for sometime, but what is this sewing on paper thing and how is it done? I'm intrigued and impressed. Also impressed that the girls all know the name of the alphabet font that you used, that is my current quest, an alphabet set that I like. You've got me back into making cards again. I need to pick your creative brain. Thanks for the inspiration
