The 6th graders at Whitney's school put on a Renaissance Fair for all the students. Whitney has been looking forward to doing this for years! Her group made an Apothecary booth and each contributed over 100 items to sell for a .25 each.
I thought they had the best looking booth full of clever items.
Whitney got called into the principal's office this week because she was awarded "The Student of the Week". This came with a coupon for a free meal at Cafe Rio, oh la la.
My secret pal gave me this strange item. I have never seen this sort of thing before and thought it was funny and weird.
My mom, Randy and I roasted ourselves at Whitney's soccer game last Saturday (I got super sun burned on my pasty-white legs).
We had a family party to celebrate Robyn and Olivia's birthdays.
Landon is still the sweetest guy ever.
Amie brought Cafe Rio for a tasty car lunch this week.
Michelle surprised me by showing up with dessert for Wendy and I, which was very unexpected and nice.
I caught Landon walking by the office; I consider Landon-sightings a perk of my job.
Landon and I went to the high school to register him for his classes for next year! This was a bit daunting at first but he got everything he wanted so we were thrilled.
Lori and I went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point on Monday. It was perfect weather and we spent 2 hours wandering around enjoying it.
This is one of my favorite photos from our wanderings, but I have many more I love.
My mom and I froze our nards off at Whitney's soccer game on May 1st! It has snowed earlier in the day and then was super windy and cold. We had dressed for the weather but still froze!

Your secret pal has strange tastes in gifts. That's about as nice as I can be about that.
You deserve a fantastic secret pal. Maybe next time. :)
I don't like hearing about freezing in Utah in may. Did I tell you I'm moving back this summer?
Landon is the sweetest!
My office window overlooks the seminary building, and I consider Steven sightings a major perk.
Isn't it crazy that in less than a week you go from being scorched at Whitney's soccer game to freezing cold?
We just broke a record low here in Texas over night for this time of year. I'm ready for Spring!
I love your random posts Jill. It's so fun to see.
I love seeing a glimpse into your real life. How sad that I was jealous of Whitney for a minute getting that cafe rio free meal--sad commentary on my life.
The secret pal stuff is cracking me up.
I'm commenting because that's what friends should do, even if they have to log out of their other accounts to do so!
I'm giving your secret pal a little credit because I've had that caramel corn before and it was delicious.
I'm calling Whitney and I square because I envy her gift card but NOT her Renaissance Fair- I hate that kind of stuff now.
And- I'm laughing at our fickle Utah weather. Hopefully we are done with snow until October!
That was an interesting gift from your secret pal. Was it tasty?
Can't believe our kiddo's are headed to the high school. WOW, they sure are growing up fast. Annika got all the classes she wanted. We are hopeful that she will be there all day to enjoy them.
May 1st! You were bundled on May 1st? Jill you can always come visit! The sun is shining here! :)
